Dr Leeson has been with the practice for 21 years .
Dr Ancél Orr

Dr Orr is our first female partner and started in 2007.
Dr Paul Sampson
Our GP trainee from AUg 11 - Feb 11 is Dr Paul Sampson (QUB 2007).
We hope he will enjoy his time here.
Medical Staff
Health Promotion Nurse
Mrs Marie Linton (senior practice nurse) SRN RSCN Asthma Diploma, Diabetes Diploma, Certificate in Breast and Cervical Screening and Family Planning Certificate, runs various clinics designed to promote health and manage chronic disease.
She gives advice, takes cervical smears, offers smoking cessation advice etc. These clinics are mainly by appointment.
She is able to see emergencies on request.
Health Care Assistant
Miss Gillian Ferguson will be available to take blood and record BP, weight and smoking habits.
Health Visitor
Mrs Emma Heany -
RN RM HV PMNS:
Trained at University of Magee and Altnagelvin Hospital. She has Bsc hons in midwifery studies and PG cert in Community public health nursing. Extensive experience in gynaecology, menopause and HRT midwifery and neonatal nursing.
Treatment Room Nurse
Julie Bryson
has joined us in December 08.
She has extensive experience in accident & emergency nursing and has worked both in Northern Ireland and Australia.
Practice Staff
Practice Manager
Mrs Linda Graham (HND in Business Studies) will be able to talk to you about any non-medical aspects of your health and treatment. She is always available to discuss any suggestions which may help to improve our service to you. She will deal with any formal complaints.
Assistant Manager
Mrs Petrina McGlinchey looks after the daily administration. She will answer any queries you may have with our services or facilities.
Receptionists
Our receptionists are here to help you.
They may need to ask you for further details when you telephone. This is to ensure that we can assist you as speedily as possible.
They are not being deliberately intrusive, and are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the doctors and nurses.

District Nurses

The district nursing team are in daily contact with the practice and are available for care and advice to housebound patients and those requiring terminal care.

Training Doctors AND Medical Students
Doctors who have had experience solely in hospital medicine are regularly invited to join the practice. Senior medical students in training are occasionally attached to the practice. Patients will be advised if they are seeing a doctor attached to the practice under this scheme.All patients have the right to choose whether or not to be seen by these practitioners. During consultations, occasional video or audio recording takes place for teaching purposes. Recordings will not be undertaken without a patient's consent.
Intimate physical examinations will not be recorded and recording equipment will always be switched off at the patient's request. We appreciate your help and co-operation

Visiting Experts
The following specialists hold clinics at the practice and can be seen (if appropriate) after consultation with your doctor.
* Chiropodist - This clinic is primarily for senior citizens and diabetic patients.
If you require this service you will need to speak to or see one of the doctors in order to be referred.
